Little Lambs Speech Pathology and Vivacity Psychology have teamed up to offer Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments for children over the age of 6, adolescents and adults. We are now also offering combined Autism Spectrum Disorder & Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder assessments for a reduced rate when booked for the same date.
What you need to know: -Referral not necessary. -Assessments held Mondays, at either Hendon or Payneham. -Assessments offered in Echuca during school holidays. -You will have two clinicians at the same appointment on the same day (you will not have to go to two different locations on two different days). -Assessment is split over two sessions with a lunch break in between. -Cost for ASD assessment is $2300. -Cost for combined ASD/ADHD assessment is $3450. -NDIS do not usually cover assessments, however you may be entitled to a small reimbursement through Medicare, if referred by a Paediatrician. -Diagnosis will not be provided on the day of assessment. Diagnosis will only be provided in the report once all investigations are finalised. -Report turn around is 6-8 weeks. -Comprehensive report includes; Neurodiversity presence or absence, Levels of support (required for NDIS), Recommendations for possible co-morbid presentations and Recommendations for further supports.
