Speech
Speech is how we produce sounds to make words. Learning the correct placement of oral articulators will improve clarity of speech and reduce frustration.

Language
Language can be broken into two domains, receptive language (understanding language) and expressive language (use of language). It requires knowledge of grammar, word meaning, vocabulary, sentence structure, as well as non-verbal communication (facial expression and gesture).
Literacy
Literacy is the ability to read, write, speak and listen in a way that lets us communicate effectively and make sense of the world around us.

Fluency
Speech Fluency is a term used in Speech Pathology that describes sounds, syllables, words and phrases joined together smoothly and easily. Stuttering is a disruption to smooth speech and can be in the form of repetition, prolongation and blocks.

OroMyology
OroMyology focuses on the function and structure of the orofacial muscles, which include the tongue, lips, and cheeks. It involves assessing and treating muscle dysfunctions that can affect speech, chewing, swallowing and breathing. OroMyology aims to improve muscle tone and coordination, ensuring that the orofacial muscles work correctly to support effective speech and other oral functions.
