Little Lamb's Little Laura

Getting To Know Me

Creating a cozy, yet professional environment where my 'Little Lambs' can come and enjoy therapy has been a dream of mine for quite some time.

I am a qualified Speech Pathologist and the founder of Little Lambs Speech Pathology, based in Adelaide's western suburbs. My journey in speech pathology has taken me across a variety of clinical settings including orphanages in Thailand, neonatal feeding clinics, Catholic education, private practice and day options centres for adults. This diverse experience has shaped my approach and allowed me to develop a well-rounded skill set.

As a Certified Practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia, I have access to the latest resources and techniques to help parents, carers and teachers support and understand children with speech and/or language difficulties. My commitment to professional development is unwavering, and I continuously enhance my skills through ongoing training. Notably, I have completed specialised training in OroMyology and LAMP Words for Life, which are integral to my practice.

To provide the best service, I am dedicated to seeing only a small number of clients per day. This allows me to give each child the individualised attention they deserve. My focus areas include oromyology, early intervention, speech, AAC, fluency, language, and literacy, catering to children aged 3 to 12.

Beyond my professional life, I am a big lover of all animals. I share my home, and sometimes clinic, with two wonderful dogs, Hector (Akita X) and Delilah (Boxer). We also enjoy frequent playdates with our neighbours' Golden Retrievers, Teddy and Rolli. While I take measures to keep the clinic dander-free, it's important for clients with allergies to consider whether this environment is suitable for them.

At Little Lambs Speech Pathology, my goal is to create a supportive and nurturing space where children can thrive and develop their communication skills. If you believe that speech pathology might be right for your child, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your concerns and explore how we can work together to support your child's growth.
